I. Four Core Functions of the Pressure Gauge

1. Judging the Pumping Status and Resistance
- Low/normal pressure: It indicates that the pumping is smooth, the concrete has good fluidity within the pipeline, and the resistance is low.
- Gradually increasing pressure: It indicates that the resistance inside the pipeline is increasing. Possible reasons include:
- The concrete has a relatively small slump (too dry), resulting in poor fluidity.
- The pumping distance has become longer or the height has increased.
- It is a precursor to a slight blockage about to occur in the pipeline.
- Sharply increasing pressure or reaching the peak value: This is a clear signal of a serious blockage (pipe blockage). At this time, the concrete is completely stuck somewhere in the pipeline, and the pressure of the pumping system will instantly reach the maximum value in order to push it forward.
